It’s so exciting to be at The Reading Terminal Market, a landmark with so much rich history. Back in 1892, Reading Terminal Market first opened for business, and over 120 years later, it is one of the nation’s most successful public markets. RTM features more than 75 independent small businesses, including Tommy DiNic’s — our third food stop. We are truly fortunate to know some amazing people who were able to pick up some roast pork sandwiches in advance so that we did not have to wait on the long line. It’s quite the popular sandwich, especially after being named the “Best Sandwich in America” in 2012 by Adam Richman from Man vs. Food. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but once I took a bite, I could see what all of the hype was about. The roast pork was insanely tender and flavorful, and was complemented perfectly by the broccoli rabe and melted sharp provolone. INCREDIBLE! A huge thank you to the wonderful friends who made our first trip to RTM a true VIP experience. You guys are the best!
