First meal in Amsterdam was fantastic! I found a new neighborhood restaurant in Zuid that was close to our hotel and it ended up being the perfect spot. The atmosphere was casual & comfortable and the menu had a great selection of meats & beer. My sister and I loved our steaks (I had the ribeye and she had the “Lady Steak” AKA filet) and Grimbergen beers were so complementary. But the real standout dish was the beef carpaccio with truffle mayo, arugula, pine nuts and cheese on papadum (a thin, crispy flat bread). AMAZING!
