Catching up with a college pal over delicious ramen at RAMEN.Co was so much fun! We both enjoyed the Brooklyn Blend with tonkotsu, black garlic oil, and soy sauce. I always opt for pork belly because it’s so luscious and tender. We also threw an original Ramen Burger into the mix — if you haven’t had one yet, you should definitely try it!
Happiness is… BACON. Lots and lots of bacon. Can’t thank my besties K & K enough for sending us the most delicious gift ever: Maple Sugar Cured Bacon and many other amazing, high quality pork products from Heritage Foods!

Celebrating National Sandwich Day with a Panuozzo (an Italian sandwich made with freshly baked pizza dough) from Neapolitan Express stuffed with mozzarella di bufala, prosciutto di parma, arugula, and honey balsamic vinegar. Quite possibly my new favorite sandwich!
Brined meats from Jewish delis in NYC are always awesome. Went to town on this hot corned beef overstuffed sammie from 2nd Ave Deli!

It’s a beautiful day in sunny Southern California on this Meatless Monday. I’m always on the look out for a fresh and tasty avocado sandwich with a yummy mayo or aioli — and today I found one! The Garden Avocado sandwich with jack cheese, pea sprouts, carrots, tomato, butter lettuce, and basil mayo on toasted 5-grain bread at Cafe Vida in Culver City was simple, fresh, and absolutely amazing. I need more of these in my life!
Veggie tacos are the way to go! I’m loving the Cauliflower Tacos with chihuahua cheese by Chef David LaForce at El Vez in Battery Park City.
I wanted to try something new in honor of National Cheeseburger Day, so I stopped by Coppelia (a 24/7 Latin diner) for their Frita Cubana burger. It’s a ground sirloin patty topped with cheddar, roasted pork AND chicharron! Where has this been all my life?! Beef + pork + super crispy fried pork skin is an amazing combination. Happy Friday!
