I heard about the opening of Pier A from my foodie bestie, SaraDISH, who has been there a few times and loves it. I couldn’t wait to check it out! On a snowy afternoon, a couple of friends and I trekked down to Battery Park City for brunch. (And by “trekked” I mean “walked for seven minutes”). šŸ˜‰ Ā The first floor space, the “Long Hall”, is set up like a German beer hall. It’s super spacious with a long bar running through the middle and picnic tables on both sides. The view of the Hudson River is gorgeous. There’s a great craft beer selection along with fun cocktails — I tried my friend’s Pimm’s Cup and loved it! Really impressed with the food, especially the Mangalitsa pork sausage with potato salad and slaw. Can’t wait to come back when the weather is nicer and sit outside!
