It’s a cool, crisp day in Southampton and I couldn’t be happier. Three more lovely ladies have joined us today and we are all excited for a full-on wine and food fest! What better way to start the celebrations than a delicious boozy brunch at Sant Ambroeus. Prosecco at noon? Yes, please! Drinking, like running, is a sport that you need to carefully and thoughtfully prepare for. In order to make it to the finish line, you’ve got to carb up and pace yourself. That’s why I’m ordering a full order of pasta (the amazing spinach and ricotta ravioi, to be exact) and sampling other people’s pastas, too. Today, carbs are my best friend. After all, it’s a marathon, not a sprint. 😉 We enjoyed so much delicious food and there were still a bunch of dishes that I wanted to try. Three bottles of prosecco later, we were ready to hit the road. First stop, Channing Daughters!
