I had a great experience at General Assembly in April and was really excited to return for another tasty meal. Last time, I wasn’t able to try the tartine because I gave up white bread for Lent, so this time around it was the first thing I ordered. Such a great recommendation by a foodie friend, Anthony Losanno — what’s better than sea urchin with tomato butter on freshly toasted bread? I also sampled the gnocchi with scallops and bacon beurre blanc, which three out of the four of us got as appetizers. Yum! I had to order the Skuna Bay salmon — loved it last time with the grilled ramp aioli and enjoyed it this time with fresh local radishes and salsa verde. The corn creme brûlée was another must have — it was so creamy and delicious! The NY strip and the hen of the woods mushrooms were also a hit. I love the spacious dining room and fun, lively atmosphere at GA and will be back soon!
