De Gustibus Cooking School: Chef Justin Smillie & Chef Joel Hough

This was my first time at a DeGustibus Cooking School Chef Demo and I had no idea what to expect. It turned out to be one of the most fun and interactive food experiences I’ve ever had! I made sure to sign in for the class at 10am on the dot so that I would be one of the first people called into the room. I chose a seat in the front row right in the middle so that I would have a great view of the chefs and all of the yummy dishes they were preparing. Over the next two hours, we got to sit back and enjoy six beautiful courses with wine pairings while learning about how each dish was prepared. Chefs Joel Hough and Justin Smillie were hilarious! They made the whole experience so much fun. I really loved the interactive format that allowed us diners to ask the chefs questions at any time. We also received packets with the recipes and were able to take notes during the demos. I definitely picked up some great tips from these two fantastic chefs! Can’t wait for my next DeGustibus class. :)
