Tabélog NYC Food Blogger Awards at Skal

Thrilled to be attending the Spring 2014 Tabelog NYC Food Blogger Awards! This time around it was held at Skal, a modern Scandinavian & American restaurant in the Lower East Side. A friend and I sampled scrumptious hors d’oeurves while sipping refreshing cocktails (black cherry old fashioned and gin cucumber) and meeting other NYC food bloggers. Every single bite was creative and delicious — from the well fleet oysters and the beef tartare with fermented ramps to the smoked mackerel on onions and heirloom carrots with burnt honey. Thanks so much, Tabelog, for bringing so many food lovers together for a fun event!
