Telepan Local

When I heard that Chef Bill Telepan opened a new restaurant in TriBeCa earlier this year, I was really excited and couldn’t wait to try it. I finally made it to Telepan Local for dinner and  had a wonderful meal full of fresh vegetables (and some meat, too). The atmosphere inside the restaurant was casual and relaxed, and I am a big fan of the small plate format because I love trying a little bit of everything. My favorite dishes of the night: foie gras hammers (tiny bites of pure bliss), roasted beets with ricotta & honey (great mix of sweet and savory), Brussels sprouts with fingerlings and coddled egg (beautifully cooked), and pigs in a blanket (a favorite from childhood that I still love today).  There were so many more dishes that I want to taste, so it looks like I will be returning to TL for another meal in the near future. A big thank you to one of my best friends for a tasty belated birthday celebration!
