One of my best friends and I enjoyed a beautiful dinner at Seven in the Ritz Carlton Grand Cayman. I was thrilled to find out that my favorite pinot noir, Flowers, was on the wine list! Naturally, we had to order a bottle. I’m a sucker for good dinner rolls and these mango brioche rolls were no joke. (I liked them so much, I asked for an order to take back up to our room!) My short rib ravioli with horseradish cream and sherry demi-glace was rich, hearty, and meaty. I went with a lighter dish for my entree: King Salmon with horseradish vierge. (Vierge is a French sauce comprised of olive oil, lemon juice, chopped tomato, chopped basil, and other herbs.) That vierge was one of the best things I’ve ever tasted! A huge thank you to my bestie for a wonderful dinner.
