Cayman Cookout: Artisan Market (Cayman Islands)

Right after the Champagne Brunch wrapped up, we headed over to the Artisan Market to enjoy more cocktails and tasty bites while lounging poolside. (Life is so hard. ;)) Guests also had the opportunity to meet their favorite chefs and have their cookbooks autographed — how awesome is that! I was excited to see Chef Scott Popovic of Certified Angus Beef and sample his creative cotton candy wrapped beef. Sounds a little strange, but it tasted amazing! I’ve become quite the White Tip fan while out here in the Cayman Islands after only four short days, and was very happy to see a Cayman Islands Brewery station which had all four of their beers: Caybrew, White Tip, Ironshore, and Pirates Gold. You better believe I’m taking a tour of the brewery when I’m back here next year! It was so much fun running into a few familiar faces: Ruth M. (Caymankind Culinary Ambassador), Corey Blohm (Manager at The Brassiere) and Simon Crompton (Bar Manager at Agua Restaurant & Lounge), and making new friends: Chris Court (Photographer at Cayman Free Press), Luigi Moxan (Owner of Cayman Cabana), and Christina Pantelidis (Cayman Free Press).Thanks to Christina for sharing a taste of the Cayman Islands’ famous stewed beef and to Chris for introducing us to Flava Magazine, which highlights the best of Cayman cuisine!
