Only in my dreams could I imagine strolling along the beach while feasting on the freshest fish and mingling with some of the best chefs in the world. The Barefoot BBQ made that dream come true! This event was perfect in every way: incredibly fresh & delicious dishes ranging from seafood to sliders, no lines at the chef’s stations, lots of tables where you could sit and enjoy your food, unlimited alcohol, gorgeous views of Seven Mile Beach… shall I go on? We feasted on Chef Eric Ripert’s grilled tuna, Chef Bernard Guillas’ queen snapper, Chef Jose Andres’ pork sliders, Chef Frederic Morineau’s shrimp a la plancha, Chef Jacques Torres’ decadent chocolates, and many, many more amazing offerings. There were also fantastic cheese, charcuterie, and dessert displays. I think I’ve died and gone to food heaven!
