Bisutoro

Chef Morimoto’s Tribeca Canvas recently re-opened as Bisutoro — new name & menu with a similar Asian fusion feel. Lots of cool tattoo-inspired artwork on the walls, too. The three of us shared a bunch of dishes, including the yuzu baked oysters (fantastic!), hamachi sashimi (I am obsessed with hamachi), short rib buns (tender meat, fluffy buns), fried tofu (loved the zucchini “fettuccine”), wagyu burger (a tasty piece of beef), and uni carbonara (by far, my favorite dish of the night). The uni pasta was AMAZING!!! Rich, creamy, and savory with a hint of ocean-y goodness from the uni. Already trying to plan when I’m coming back for more!
