I’m ready for some good eats at Delicatessen in SoHo! The menu is huge and includes every type of comfort food you can think of — from fried chicken and burgers to pasta and tacos. Any place that serves nine different varieties of macaroni and cheese is a winner in my book. I absolutely loved the Cheeseburger Mac, a simple yet delicious combo of ground angus beef and American & Cheddar cheese. It was so warm and cozy. Note to self: must go back for this dish when it gets colder. Another standout dish for me was Giorgio’s meatballs — super moist and tender. Who doesn’t love a good meatball? The seafood apps (tuna tartare, fried tuna avocado rolls, lobster sliders) were tasty and satisfying. I have never been a fan of cheesecake, but I have to say that the pumpkin cheesecake with salted caramel ice cream was mind-blowing. One of the best desserts I’ve had in a long time. I’m totally stuffed from tonight’s dinner, but I’m already planning my next visit to Delicatessen for more mac & cheese and yummy comfort food! Thanks to Chef Michael Ferraro & Executive Sous Chef Titus Wang for a fantastic meal. :)
