I am so excited to be invited to the Tabelog NYC Food Blogger Awards! The awesome event was held at SakaMai, NYC’s first restaurant and bar dedicated to sake. We had the opportunity to sample a variety of delicious, creative dishes and meet other bloggers from around the city. It was truly a food blogger’s dream to have each dish strategically set up at the bar with a full description next to it. The Tabelog team knows what they’re doing! I was so happy to share this experience with one of my favorite foodie friends, who is always down to eat and try new things. And as an added bonus, I ran into fellow blogger, Mr. Eric Eats, at the event! We all really enjoyed the unique food, especially the filet mignon tartare with sea urchin, Iberico pork with farro salad, and carrot & dashi gelee with truffles. Already looking forward to coming back to SakaMai for dinner. A huge thanks to the Tabelog team, especially Brock and Kenta, for hosting such a fun event!
