Marc Forgione

One of my closest friends is in town and we’re continuing with our food fest! Second stop: Marc Forgione. I haven’t been here in a few years so I’m psyched to be back. We were still a bit full from our brunch just an hour or so earlier, but we soldiered on! The kampachi tartare, chili lobster with Texas toast, and eggplant parm ravioli were all delicious. For me, the true stand out of the meal was the Bell & Evans chicken under a brick. It came out in a huge cast iron pot, sizzling so loudly that we could practically hear it across the room. The chicken was super moist, and once it was doused in those pan drippings, it was out of this world AMAZING. I just wish I had some white rice to pour that beautiful liquid over. 😉
