I went back to Preserve24 (for my bone marrow fix :)) and brought along a friend who just moved into the neighborhood. We had an amazing dining experience from start to finish –the service was phenomenal! Our server, Kat, recommended a bottle of Domaine Fichet Bourgogne Pinot Noir that we really liked (I’m obsessed with Pinot Noir). To start, we sampled a variety of fresh oysters along with the salmon crudo special (loved it). I had to order some of my Preserve24 faves: roasted bone marrow, roasted asparagus w/ sunny side up egg, and the roasted chicken. Fantastic, as always! We also checked out the blackened cod with pickled ramps and the molasses butter beans – both were delicious. For dessert, it was Movie Night all the way (popcorn ice cream, chocolate covered peanuts, and Coca-Cola sauce) — a creative interpretation of classic movie theater snacks. The combination sweet and salty just worked for me — this is a dessert that I will come back and order again and again!
