I have been meaning to check out Parm for the longest time. I mean, I’m obsessed with every type of parm out there (especially eggplant), so I knew that this place would be perfect for me. Thanks to lots of mouth-watering photos posted on Instagram by thirddinner (who frequents Parm pretty much every week), I finally made it there on this sunny Saturday afternoon. A foodie pal and I sat at the bar for about four hours and indulged in fresh mozzarella sticks, a few different heroes, and about eight cocktails. We loved the special drink of the day, the Frozen Scorpino, made of vodka, lemon, and tea-infused gin. Think alcoholic Arnold Palmer. So refreshing and pretty darn potent. I also snuck in a Mulberry Street Punch, which is similar to a sparkling Sangria. Enough about the drinks, back to the food! I thoroughly enjoyed both of my heroes: the Eggplant Parm and the Veal Parm. They were everything that I dreamed they would be. To my surprise, I actually liked the Veal Parm the best. (I think there was some thinly sliced eggplant on there, which really made it a Veal & Eggplant Parm in one.) I also snagged a few bites of my pal’s Chicken Parm, which was delish. Gotta here back here soon so I can try the Meatball Parm, Chicken Francese, and the House Roasted Turkey!
