It’s SaraDISH’s birthday month and we’re celebrating as many times as we can! After enjoying some delicious sammies and Bombay Sapphire cocktails at the ‘wichcraft party, we headed downtown to Lafayette for dinner. It’s a tough job eating back-to-back meals, but we’re always up for the challenge. 😉 Some of the most memorable dishes of the night: Eggs Lafayette with smoked sablefish and trout caviar (SaraDISH is obsessed with deviled eggs), Beef Tartare with watercress and bone marrow (clever how the bone marrow look like an egg yolk), Soft Shell Crab with zucchini (super crispy and fresh), and the Black Fettuccine with seafood and chorizo (I can’t get enough of squid ink pasta these days). We shared a bottle of Sancerre and toasted to SaraDISH over a lovely dessert. It’s been an awesome double birthday celebration kind of day!
