After finishing up a delicious meal at Catch, I headed downtown to my next dinner at Haru to continue the seafood fest. I ordered my two favorite dishes on the menu: yellowtail tartare with sesame lemon sauce and miso black cod with grilled asparagus (one of the tastiest black cod dishes I’ve had — it’s so buttery and flavorful). I also shared a couple of vegetarian appetizers with a couple of lovely vegetarian pals who came into the city to hang out (vegetable spring rolls and agedashi tofu — not the easiest thing to eat with chopsticks ) We enjoyed all of the food, laughed non-stop, and snapped lots of pics, as per our usual paparazzi ways. Fun times. Big thanks to my photo-loving friend who treated for my birthday!
