Enjoyed a delicious lunch in a private dining room at Maialino for a family member’s birthday celebration. The highlight of the four course tasting was the roasted suckling pig. It was shown to us about an hour before it was served (see full photo album for a photo of the adorable Italian man who presented it). What an extraordinary dish! The skin was crisped to absolute perfection (see close up below). The pork was so moist and juicy, it was literally falling off of the bone. We also enjoyed an assortment of other tasty dishes, including ricotta raviolis, black bass, hangar steak, and tripe.

Ravioli di Ricotta (with spinach, butter, sage)
Tagliata di Manzo (hangar steak, fingerlings, salsa verde)
