The tasting menu at Torrisi consisted of 20 courses, starting with a specialty non-alcoholic cocktail called Our Americano. Among the many dishes, there was a good mix of seafood (octopus, little neck clams, oysters, mackerel, sablefish), meat (steak tartare, rabbit, chicken, chicken liver, lamb), and pasta (spaghettini, ravioli, fried pasta). Overall, the food was tasty and creatively presented. Afterward, we stopped at Parm (Chef Rich Torrisi and Mario Carbone’s sandwich spot next door) to grab some chicken, meatball, and eggplant parm heroes to go, but they were closed — will have try again soon! I love a good Italian sub.
