Chef’s Table at Brooklyn Fare lives up to — and exceeds — all of the hype. The tasting menu consisted of 18 bite-sized, predominantly seafood courses that were impeccably presented and absolutely delicious. It was fascinating to watch Chef Cesar Ramirez and his staff create edible works of art while seated around a stainless-steel bar that serves only 18 guests at a time. I was extremely disappointed that we were not able to take photos or write down the names of the dishes — the entire night was such a whirlwind, I can barely remember anything that I ate. All I know is that it was one of the best meals of my life, partly because Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichen and Chef Gregory Brainin were seated right next to us! They were both so friendly and warm. I am thrilled to report that Jean-Georges said his favorite burger is the Minetta Tavern Black Label Burger (which is MY most favorite burger on the planet!) We then proceeded to high five each other. How awesome is that!
