Ad Hoc (Yountville, CA)

I’m a big fan of family-style dining. At Ad Hoc, there is a four-course, very reasonably-priced menu that changes daily and all of the dishes are meant for the entire table to share. After a long day of wine tasting (life is so hard), we headed over to Ad Hoc for a late afternoon meal. The pear and arugula salad was sweet and fresh. As an added dish, we ordered the hamachi crudo (I’m obsessed with hamachi), which was so refreshing. I don’t usually opt for leaner cuts of pork, but the roasted pork rack was moist, tender, and perfectly cooked. Next up on my list to try at Ad Hoc: ┬áthe fried chicken!
