A late afternoon brunch at The Dutch capped off a wonderful birthday weekend with one of my best friends. We feasted on a number of mouthwatering dishes, including the fried bologna & egg sandwich (salty, cheesy and gooey), hot fried chicken and honey biscuits (moist inside, crispy outside — with a bit of heat), Kierin’s pastry board (a curry sugar donut, apple cheddar scone, and blueberry buckwheat muffin), and three giant slices of homemade pies. Whew! Everything was amazing. We practically had to roll ourselves out of there. A huge thank you to our college friend, Jason Hua — The Dutch’s Chef de Cuisine!
