I absolutely love Italian food, so it’s no surprise that I am a fan of Locanda Verde. I dined there twice in the last week — just couldn’t get enough of it! The sheep’s milk ricotta and the steak tartare were the dishes that I enjoyed the most. The ricotta was thick and creamy, yet fluffy — I could have made an entire meal out of it. I’m obsessed with beef, especially when it’s medium rare to raw. Yes, raw — and this steak tartare was a delicious balance of meaty, nutty flavors. The homemade pastas were incredible, too. I had Lambrusco (sparkling red wine) for the first time here at Locanda Verde, and it has become my new beverage of choice. Try it if you get a chance: Lini Lambrusco Brut NV.
